Baby mtngirl is here!
And a mtn GIRL she is! Born this morning at 5:56 am. Her name is Neve Carolyn and it's pronounced neeve. It's a Gaelic name meaning bright or radiant and in Latin, it means snow. She is 7lbs 14 oz, 20.5 inches long and perfectly healthy! I made it through without drugs thanks to hypnobabies, an awesome midwife, amazing doula and husband that far exceeded my expectations! However, I will say that back labor is a *** and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone!!! More details later and a pic, for those of you I am not friends with on fb.
Sorry to downtoearthgirl and velocity girl for not notifying you. Things got intense pretty quickly yesterday afternoon and we failed to even notify family that we were headed to the hospital!
We are over the moon with happiness and seeing she hold our daughter makes my heart melt in a whole new way!!!
