DH brought me home a McDonalds shamrock shake. These things are like crack. It is one of my favorite times of year!

I enjoy them, although I was a little disappointed with my first one this year. I just don't think they mixed it well enough. I'll have to try again soon.

OMG!! I must go obtain one IMMEDIATELY!! I always forget about them until this time of year. I had one like, every other day last year.

They don't have them where I live. Blasphemy, I know. Apparently the McD's here isn't sophisticated enough to carry a seasonal made-up cultural beverage.

Moshi-If I could mail you one I would.  I think I would drive great distances to get one.

E_J--The old ones before they changed the recipe was much better.  I have had some recently that weren't mixed well either.  I also think the whipped cream and cherry on top ruin them.

Okay fill me in ladies, what is a shamrock shake? Is it just green vanilla shake or do they add in extra flavoring?

Mmmm they're so good!  I love mint-flavored things.  I usually only get one a year though, because I'm pretty opposed to McDonalds.

Erin: They're pretty much vanilla shakes, with a hint of mint. They're not "minty" per se, but you can taste a little. And they're very green
