1099 from Foodbuzz

Have you guys gotten yours yet? It's the only thing holding me up from getting our taxes done.

Re: 1099 from Foodbuzz

  • Nope. I thought you only got a 1099 if you made over a certain amount?
  • If you received more than $600 in 2011, you'll get a 1099.

Ah, good to know. I thought it was $1,000.

I wish they had a way you could login to their site and see how much you got. I don't know if I made that much but it's possible. We were going to do our taxes this weekend and it never even occurred to me that they might send me a 1099. Crap.

I can't log in as a FP any more since I am no longer with them, but I think you should be able to see your earnings if you scroll to the bottom and go to "featured publisher resources" or something like that? Or you could always just look at your paypal deposits to get an idea.

    Yup, Featured Publisher Resources.

I've been loving FB lately, but come on, it's past Jan 31st!

  • Obviously I never log into their site since I had no clue there's a Featured Publisher Resources page. :)

ETA: I don't qualify for 2011 but I likely will for 2012 (January was a good month!) Phew. Glad we can get our taxes done this weekend.

I'm basing this on the date that I was paid, right? Since they are 3 months behind I added everything up from 9/10 - 9/11.

  • We just did ours based on the paypal deposits.

And yeah, it is what you were paid in 2011, not what you earned (since they are 3 months behind).

  • I haven't received mine either...I want these taxes outta the way already.
  • FYI, I emailed them and they said they are slated to go out on 2/15 which is, you know, 2+ weeks later than they are supposed to but whatever.

Actually the deadline to mail 1099s is 2/15. I don't know why it's different for W2s and 1099s. Annoying.

I was going to say this, I just mailed them out for our company. I am not sure why the dates are different. It doesn't help people that want to do taxes asap.
