A friend of mine has NEVER cried at a movie and has asked me to put together a list of tearjerkers.
So, what movies make you cry?
My short list:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Big Fish
Fried Green Tomatos
What Dreams May Come
Steel Magnolias
Up
The Fox and the Hound
Toy Story 3 (Yes, really...)
Re: Movies that make you cry
P.S. I Love You
I cry at a lot of movies but that is my number 1 tearjerker
IVF w/ICSI - transferred 2; froze 3
Beta #1 150 Beta #2 320 - 7/16 124 bpm (6w5d) EDD 3/6/13
Our team green baby was a girl! Emma Lynn born 2/23/13
my read shelf:
The Notebook and Marley and Me.
My Girl is the first movie that ever made me cry. I was just a kid and I remember watching it upstairs and going downstairs when it was over and my parents were freaked because they didn't know why I was crying!
In her shoes-I'm a sucker for any movie about sisters.
Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, Up, Million Dollar Baby (cried for the entire final 45 minutes....straight through. I tore up the movie theater napkins with my tears and snot).
I'll just say that most movies, if touching and sentimental, make me cry. I'm a huge baby.
P.S. I Love You (this is basically the most cry-worthy movie ever)
A Walk To Remember
Backdraft
Legends of the Fall (one of the most depressing movies ever IMO!)
The Notebook
P.S. I Love You (I cried non-stop the first time I watched it)
A Walk to Remember
The Notebook
The Blind Side
Up
The Family Stone
Me too! First movie I cried to.
I cry over anything. Any movie where someone dies (especially a child or an animal). Any movie about service workers (firefighters, police, military) getting hurt on duty.
Any of the Remember the Titan's type of movies.
I completely agree with others who said
Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, Up, Legends of the Fall
I add to the list: Of Mice and Men.
It was the first movie that ever made me cry. I haven't been able to watch it again.
This movie made me bawl. I was so sad when Andy left his toys.
I was happy for Bonnie, but so sad for Andy.

I bawl during the Lion King!
I sobbed like a lunatic over Marley and Me.
I hate that movie.
I was still crying the next day about The Notebook. Literally
My friend and I went to see the Lion King in 3D this fall and bawled like a couple of losers in the theater. We plan to do the same when Titanic comes back out
Too add a couple others I haven't seen mentioned: Ladder 49, My Sister's Keeper, Pay It Forward, Titanic, Pearl Harbor
IVF w/ICSI - transferred 2; froze 3

Life is Beautiful
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
I do NOT cry easily but these ones....
My girl. I watched it the other night and I was a mess.
A walk to remember.
Armageddon
How could I forget? Titanic!!!!!!!!! Lol.
