3 teen authors-1 teachable subject
Hey ladies!
I am looking for 3 author of teen books (middle or high school) that would all be able similiar subjects that I could teach about. I'm thinking either history (same historical topic) or geography, or something similiar. Any thoughts on who the authors could be or what the topics could be? I'm thinking Holocaust-number the stars, the book thief, or something to that effect, but ANY teachable topics and books would help!

What about the Hunger Games trilogy and other dystopian books? The Handmaid's Tale?
This! The Hunger Games are great teaching books for globalization and dystopian society.
If you look at the books where the Capital = US and Districts = 3rd World Countries, you can come up with some interesting discussions.
