What'd you think? I'm rooting for Beverly, if only to shove it in everybody else's faces.

Re: Top Chef 2/8
I'm going to C&P from a post I had on a diff board:
So, I sort of knew Bev was going to be in the final 4 because I interviewed at her alma mater and the president told me one of their students was in the Top Chef final 4 :-
I think she's a good cook. She's scattered and maybe a bit too emotional, but her food has seemed really good for a while now. Plus, she kicked Nyesha out after a reaaaaaally long reign on last chance kitchen or whatever the hell it's called.
When they showed Paul talking to his wife, I got really nervous. Those montages are usually the kiss of death. I definitely hope he takes it all.
It's funny- when I first saw that Bev beat Nyesha, I was upset. Nyesha got booted because of her partner and I was really hoping she'd have a chance to come back and prove herself.
Then I realized she did have a chance- multiple times. It was just "behind the scenes".

I would have liked to see her come back, too. I do think Bev is deserving, but I think Nyesha could be too. She seemed pretty strong and was kicked out for her partner. And she won I don't know how many of those last chance kitchen things.
I really want to see the LCK between Bev and Nyesha. I've read that Nyesha basically got screwed because they had to swap dishes halfway through the challenge and Bev was so far behind in her dish that Nyesha basically didn't have a chance, while Bev got to ride the coattails of Nyesha's dish.
I think Bev's food is probably good -- it was her attitude in the early part of the season that annoyed me -- but I'm still Team Paul.

I think I'd be pissed if I were him. Despite the fact that I'm rooting for Bev, I still think that Last Chance Kitchen is unfair to the rest of the contestants.
I am underwhelmed by this whole season, but I am actively rooting against Lindsay and Sarah and don't care much for Beverly, so...
GO, PAUL!
My Shopping Blog
Ooooh... That would make me angry. All the LCKs are OnDemand if you have TimeWarner.
Bev is a hot mess. Sara is a biitch. Lindsey is meh. Team Paul.
All of this, except I like Bev. Lindsay and Sarah are heifers and their personalities are horrendous. This season pretty much sucks hairy ball big time, the only bright spot is Paul. They really don't even need a finale, clearly he is the winner.
LOL I think so too. I was bummed Ed got kicked instead of Lindsay. Maybe if he had cried....
I'm rooting for either Bev or Paul. Only Bev because I want Lindsay and Sarah to feel completely scandalized, but I think Paul deserves it more since he never got kicked off to begin with. I think Last Chance Kitchen wasn't as difficult as the real competition was, so I think bringing someone back at the end for that is....cheap?
Team Paul.
But, if not Paul, I guess I'd go with Beverly because I hate Sarah and Lindsay.
ASIAN POWER.
I was irritated that Sarah was even given the choice to forgo cooking and just take one of the top spots after the quickfire. To me, she did not earn that spot. She should have had to cook along side the rest off them. Immunity is fine in the first few episodes because there's still time to weed people out--but right before the final four? Insane.
I don't like that they did a LCK either, though.
I'm definitely on Team Paul. Bev seems completely all over and place and overwhelmed all the time, Lindsay is okay, and I can't stand Sarah at all.
Snow!
<a href="http://www.thenest.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Home Dditto this! haha Sarah is a mean bully!
This is exactly what happened. Bev hadn't even finished prepping when Nyesha took over her dish.
I am on team anti-Bev. She is a horrible team player, thinking only of herself. None of her teammates (even the men) respected her. And I am all about introverts being good leaders - - she is just not one of them. I think there is something wrong with her - she's like a child.
I hope Paul wins.
I think Nyesha was also on a show called Chef Hunter on Food Network. I so wish she had been in the FInal 4.
Team Paul. I don't think he has the confidence to pull it out, though.
I agree 100%. And I'm Team Paul now.
