So I lost 17lbs the year we were getting married 2010. I felt so great about myself and was the thinnest I had been since HS. Fast forward to now and I have gained 7-10lbs back depending on the day. Yes I am still smaller than I started, but I feel like I am on a upward spiral to continue to gain. I know I am eating bad, I try to eat well, I do ok for a week and then I lose it. I eat everything. I am in 2 weddings this year and we are going on a big vacation. I need to lose the 10 I gained by June. Any suggestions for me?
Re: Weight loss
portion control - know correct size and do not eyeball it - measure it!
make healthier choices all over
exercise will make it go faster
Track what you eat in something like Livestrong or Sparkpeople. Be very careful about correct portion sizes.
Don't feel you have to starve yourself. 10lbs in 3+ months is do-able with a moderate calorie deficit. That way you won't be starving and feel the need to eat everything in sight.
My home office. Joeyzlovieg's hubby made it for me. I love it!
Thanks ladies,
I do workout. usually 2-3 days a week. But I travel alot for work, i am an events person so there is food around constantly. Im going to give it a big push next week. Thanks for the support.
Well to be blunt, you have to really want it. I went up and down and lost 10/20 pounds here and there but would lose steam and gain it back. I stepped on the scale in August and saw a number I didn't ever want to see again. That was my breaking point.
Watch EVERYTHING that goes in your mouth. Measure EVERYTHING. Do ANY exercising you can. Every little bit helps. 10lbs is very doable by June.
