First session down
dd1 and I had our first session with a LMFT last night. It went well, we both spoke candidly about our needs and concerns without tears or yelling and no fingers pointed. Both understand what is wrong just need help with the communication piece. We are so much alike and what it boils down to is I don't feel appreciated and she doesn't feel loved but all the stuff piled on top of that is a mess. I'm optomistic this will make our (and for everyone else in the family) last year and a half together much better!
