My office is doing a Fat Tuesday party, with my group signed up for desserts. A couple people are already making king cakes, any suggestions for other Mardi Gras or New Orleans-themed desserts? I was thinking maybe pralines.

Cajun Cake
Pralines
Bacon Pralines
Bread Pudding
Bananas Foster is also a popular dessert, but it's fairly boozy. I've seen bananas foster bread pudding recipes on the Internet.
If you can find moon pies, those are a big deal around Mardi Gras (a very popular throw for parades).
