App/Website for Nutritional Info for Recipes

I have been doing great tracking all my food on sparkpeople.  For the most part, the app works great.  But, as I cook more and more, I am having issues "estimating" nutritional information for the meal.  I can put individual components into Sparkpeople, but that is so tedious.

Does anyone know of an app or website that I can put in all ingredents and it tells me the combined nutrional information?  I am thinking something like WWers' Recipe Builder.

TIA

Re: App/Website for Nutritional Info for Recipes

  • Buy a scale and use the "User Shared" information on Sparkpeople.  I cook almost every night and that is how I track.  You're much more accurate on calorie counts is you use oz.

  • I use myfitnesspal.com and have found it MUCH easier to use than sparkpeople to input recipes or more obscure foods. It's also free.

  • Oh and you can enter either on the website or on the app :)

  • Sparkpeople actually has a recipe builder.  I use it loosely... I don't type out ingredients or put in any extra info like prep time. And I don't share it with the community since it's just for my reference.  You will still have to add the ingredients and their amounts (just like adding to daily meal, but in different place at once), but you'd have to do that anywhere.  You at least have it for the next time you eat that same recipe.

It's on the Recipe tab; Access the Recipe Calculator
