TMI: Would you still go to massage appt if you just got AF?

The massage appt was scheduled weeks ago with a birthday discount coupon. If I reschedule then I lose the discount since there is no other time to go (I never get time to myself, I took off from work and brought the kids to school for this appt). AF reared her ugly head this morning.  (a few days earlier than anticipated).  Sorry to be TMI but my cycle is ridiculously heavy and I am worried I am going to bleed all over the table even with a tampon up in there and leaving my underwear on. WWYD?  Sorry I know this seems stupid but I have this fear of accidentally bleeding all over the place.  Would you still go or reschedule?

yes, I'd go. i'd just make sure I put in a new tampon right before going into the room.

I couldn't.  I bleed way too heavy to be comfortable doing something like that.

Absolutely this, although if you're going to be worried and stressed (and unable to relax and enjoy it) anyway, I'd just reschedule.

Ditto pp...just change tampon right before. How about a pad for back-up?

Yup.  Just double up - tampon & pad.  Then tell them that you're having your period.  They can do amazing things for cramps!!!

tampon + a pad and i'm sure you'd be fine for an hour regardless of how heavy you are.

i always have to double up...if you are really worried double pad it too _ so u have extra coverge in front and back (overlap them)  i would never cancel a massage for that
