Valentine's Day

Does anyone have any plans? Anyone actually going out? We're debating making reservations somewhere, but we're just so lazy that going out on a school night seems like such a pain.

My mom will be here until Wednesday, so we have the option to go out with a sitter. However, DH is probably working until 8 or 9, and I just can't imagine I'll want to go out that late... on a school night... haha.

We are going out tomorrow in lieu of Tuesday night. We will pick up take out on the way home from work Tuesday.

We bought a Groupon for Mellow Mushroom so we're going to use that on Tuesday. We haven't gone out in Valentine's Day in several years but we don't go out often so we're using the day and Groupon as an excuse to get out.

I think Valentine's Day is overrated.  Restaurants are overcrowded and we're getting too lame in our old age to go out on work nights most of the time.  We thought about maybe going out to dinner one night this weekend, but we probably won't.  We'll see.

I refuse to go out on Valentine's Day b/c it's too crowded. We're leaving E with my mom overnight for the first time the Saturday after Valentine's Day and we'll go to Bonefish for dinner that night.

The BF and I have work events this weekend and we don't want to go out on Tuesday so I think we'll do dinner somewhere the following weekend.

DH has class that night so we're going to do something next weekend. I think we're going to check out a new brunch spot downtown and go to the movies.

BF and I actually prefer going out during the week compared to a Fri / Sat. 

I made reservations at Mitchell's Fish Market despite the fact that I despise Town Center. My first choices were Melting Pot (booked), III Forks (booked) and Ruth Chris (booked + overpriced).

Oh and FWIW, I made reservations for 5:30 to hopefully avoid a later "rush" of reservations and people. Plus I can still get home in plenty of time for my old lady bedtime of 9pm.

Valentine's Day hasn't even been on my radar this year. I imagine we will do nothing. Maybe crack open a mid-week bottle of wine?

V-day is kind of overrated.  Doesn't matter anyway since my grandmother is getting re-married (she's 70) at 4:30 on Valentine's Day with a dance at her senior community center to follow. I'm sure it won't be a super late night haha. Gotta drive down to Titusville, so bonus is a half-day at work. From her family, only one of my cousins and myself are attending since the rest of the family is pissed that she's even doing it.  (Gramp died in '09) I say let her be happy.  So I'm going with bells on for her.

My grandpa is in a senior living place in Titusville. I wonder if he'll be an attendee at the dance.

This is SO freaking cute. Love it.

We don't do much for Valentine's day. I love card-shopping, so we usually do cards and candy or something like that. Sometimes I will make something a little special for dinner, but I haven't thought that far yet this year.
