If you could have one ability that you currently do not - realistic or fantasy - what would it be and why?

Hmmmm...I'd love to have magical powers a la Harry Potter.
More "realistic" is that I wish I had 20/20 vision w/out glasses. My corneas are so irregular now that I can't wear contacts & lasik, apparently, won't work either. So, either it's a cornea transplant (followed by contacts or lasik) or glasses forever. Oh, and my eyesight is so bad I can't go w/out glasses...I'd be running into things!
I wish I was so super duper strong so that carrying the baby in the baby carrier or carrying my 2.5 yo up 2 flights of stairs is a cinch. I have minor back issues so all of the lifting involved with taking care of two children is hard on me. To me, that would be some an awesome super power (on a side note, I do work out and lift weights...I just wish that it still wasn't so much of a struggle).
Stand up for something you believe in.
ditto kastle on wanting a wand and magical powers. the ability to apparate/teleport would make traveling a lot easier (and cheaper!)

This, or, I'd love to fly. I think soaring through the clouds would be exhilarating! Also, it would be so much easier to see the world.
Realistic: I wish I had the ability to speak different languages. It has always been hard for me and I have so wanted to be that person who easily picked up languages.
Not realistic- some sort of cool magical power like freezing time (just so I could take a nap or relax while everyone else is frozen) or granting wishes.
Realistic: I wish I had some mad graphic design skills. I think I could actually accomplish this with a little training, but in the mean time I start a project and get all annoyed that it doesn't magically look how I want it to.
Not realistic: Magic toddler mind powers. Like, I could just look at C and change his nasty attitude or will him to pick up his toys. Barring that, invisibility so I could just disappear.
Teleportation - it would save so much time, stress, and money!
I would also love to not have to sleep. I'd still want to be able to sleep if I wanted to, but if I didn't need sleep, I'd have sooo much extra time to get things done while everyone else was sleeping!
i've always wanted to fly. it is my recurring dream...i've had this dream since the beginning of my memory.
i also think it would be super cool to have witchcraft powers like the chick on Bewitched!
Fantasy Power - You know how in The Running Dream you "run" but you're really almost jumping from place to place and get there really fast? I want to Do That.

Being able to teleport.
I HATE waiting in traffic, I HATE having to drive to work, I HATE having to waste time at an airport, I HATE having to wait for the metro...
It would just be so much quicker and I'd be able to sleep or relaxe a litte longer!
Magical abilities for sure (especially apparating). Also, I agree with WNW- wish I didn't have to sleep when I have too much to do, but would sleep when I wanted.
Planning Bio
I wish humans did not need to eat or sleep; the things I could accomplish!!
And I'd love some of the powers in HT as well.
Realistic- I'd like to be able to speak a few different languages fluently.
Fantasy- I'd love to be able to time travel. Or HP magical powers.
Realistic - I'd like to be able to sing.
Fantasy - I'll add myself to the "I'd like to apperate" list - that way I could just come back east any time I want and not have to worry about the time or the money!
