cousin's husband just told me that IF couples shouldn't marry

Oh. My. God.  my brother posted something about gay marriage (he's for it) and our super religious cousin-in-law starts chiming in with his 2 cents and how marriage is for procreation, etc...so i asked about couples with IF and he said "no. not at all."

just to play devils advocate, but if he is super religious, then no sex before marriage correct? then how would you know if you were going to deal with IF until after your married? so then you should get divorced? cause that is also against the church-

The the blessing and curse of FB. You learn how ignorant people you know/are close to are. And you learn how ignorant people you know/arre close to are. Double edged sword to say the least.

I never knew the ginormous amount of ignorant people I grew up with because stuff never came up in conversation. But by the stuff they put out there as status updates and groups they join, I feel like they could be heading up the racial revolution. I'd be sent to the ovens for sure.

i just asked that LOL. i'm dying to hear what he has to say.

i knew he was super religious and didn't agree with gay marriage, etc but to have him say that even IF straight couples shouldn't marry just blows my mind.  good thing i never really liked his wife anyway

   No, infertility isn't a persons fault. I know several people who've struggled with this and chose to adopt or go to an infertility clinic. It's not uncommon for woman, even if it's only temporary, to have problems. Some have adopted and later on became pregnant with their own. What I'm referring to is same sex couples who cannot procreate because they're incompatible. Does that make sense?

   No, infertility isn't a persons fault. I know several people who've struggled with this and chose to adopt or go to an infertility clinic. It's not uncommon for woman, even if it's only temporary, to have problems. Some have adopted and later on became pregnant with their own. i don't get it at all.  i'm actually not even FB friends with him.  all of this is going back and forth on my brother's page.  and i rarely get involved in these kinds of conversations but i had to chime in to this one.

But that isnt what he 1st said, you asked if couples with IF should marry and he said No, not at all.

I cant stand people who are so overly religious it clouds common sense, and even worse is a overly religious back peddler

How about we all stop worrying about what goes on between adult people & their private parts (BCPs & gay marriage) and focus on what we can do to turn this country around for our kids. ugh, I am cranky today

How would you even know you are IF before trying? And according to that logic, he and his wife should only have sex when TTC. No sex otherwise. .

That being said - that man is a complete ahole and moron. I'd defriend him just for that comment
