Need new chili recipe- something traditional though...
I usually make CL's All-American Chili or Jamie Deen's Chili (both of which I love) but am looking for another chili recipe- a traditional one.
If you've got a good hearty chili recipe to share, I would appreciate it!

Three bean chili

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 cups diced onion
2 Tbs chili powder
1 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 1/4 cup tomato sauce
1 1/4 cup beef broth
7 drops hot sauce
16 oz. thin spaghetti
Preheat broth on medium for 2-3 minutes. Add beef and 1/2 cup onion, cook 2-3 minutes until meat is crumbled (I have found using a wisk works even though it gets stuck inside) and onions are soft.
Combine chili powder, cocoa powder, apple pie spice, and cumin, then add to meat. Cook for 1-2 minutes to blend flavors.
Stir in tomato sauce, hot sauce, and cider vinegar; cook 8-10 minutes (or until chili thickens).
H makes this Chili very mild... I can't do hot stuff so If you like spicy add more chili powder to taste. We also don't like beans in our chili but if you do you can add a can or 2.
Chili
2 1/2 lbs. Ground Beef
4 Tablespoons Dried Minced Onion
Water
Salt and Pepper to taste
1- 6 oz. can Tomato Paste
1 can Campbell's double strength Beef broth and 2 cans water
3 Tablespoons Ketchup
1 jar Pace Picante Sauce Mild
2 Tablespoons Molasses
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Cumin
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder (if you like things hot add more)
Put beef in heavy stock pot; add onions salt and pepper to taste put in
about 1 inch of water and cook breaking it up until no longer pink. Turn off heat. Drain
in colander. Put meat back in pot and add the rest of the ingredients stirring occasionally.
Once everything is incorporated turn heat back on High until it comes up to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We have done it in a crockpot once the only thing we had to do was thicken it with cornstarch and cold water because it was very soupy. Enjoy.
