lurkers are out there!!!
remember that day i was asking for comments on my maternity pics blog? i talked with jennygg, and she tracks how many "new" visitors go to her site each day-- there were over 80 NEW visitors to her site that came from TN (and i think it was 2 or 300 from my posting on TB)....these are NEW visitors...that means people that have never visited jgg's website before. i know a lot of us are jgg brides, or have at least visited her page before...so we're not accounted for in this...so that means there are a good amount of lurkers watching our posts.
just always always be mindful about what we post--we don't know how many crazies are out there, that will take our information and do something we don't want with it.

yep, it's really true. especially if we're posting stuff about vacations, pictures we wouldn't want shared with everyone, etc.
yup. exactly this. i don't post on facebook, either (and that's trusted friends!) when i'm going to leave town. i hate seeing "countdowns" of vacays on facebook..because it's like "come rob my house!"

When we went to Disneyland last year, I had a detailed itinerary on my blog. I took it down for this exact reason.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
This is one of the benefits of currently having roommates - we do that because we're gone frequently and we don't want our house empty.
But once we get our own place, I won't be posting check-ins, photos, or information on upcoming vacations until after I'm home on FB. Even though I 100% trust all my friends on FB (I keep a really small friend list and delete people all the time), I know DH doesn't so I don't want anything indicating he's gone because he has like, 1600 FB friends and I don't know who most of them are!
I even hate taking cabs to the airport because I don't want that person knowing I am gone!
I try to avoid letting people I know I am gone but have slipped up here and there...
