Can I put a glass bowl in the oven?

I made some dip that has to be heated in a glass bowl...can I just put the glass bowl in the oven on 350 for 20 minutes, or should I transfer it to something else? After the bowl is heated, I'm just going to put it in the crock pot on warm...(the dip, not the bowl).

Is there a reason it can't just heat/cook in the crock pot? And why does it need to be a glass bowl?

Well I wasn't sure if it could be heated in the crock pot or not. The recipe I used just said mix everything up and heat it in the oven (it's buffalo chicken dip.) If I can use the crock pot to heat it, I'll just do that since it's easier and that's how it's going to be served. But I mixed it up in a glass bowl (forgetting that it has to be heated up). I'm not heating it until the party tomorrow, which is why I'm asking instead of just transferring it, etc.

If everything in it is cooked, I would just put it straight into the crock pot. Make your life easier! Heat it on high until hot and switch to warm.

I would worry about the bowl cracking unless it's pyrex and it is said to be made for oven heating. Even then I don't know if I would put it straight from the fridge to the oven.
