Another question for migraine sufferers...BCP?
I spoke with my OBGYN about a month ago regarding BCP. I've never been on BCP except for a few weeks during my IVF cycles. That said, he does not suggest that I use BCP because of my migraines. What are you using? We have two embryos frozen, and aren't sure if we are going for #3, so I don't want an IUD or anything similar. Any suggestions?

Re: Another question for migraine sufferers...BCP?
I just went off my BCP this past month because it was giving me horrible migraines - my last one lasted 6 days and I was on the verge of going to the ER on Wednesday. I had had enough and decided I can't take it anymore. We're sticking with condoms until my husband's vasectomy (sp?). I did discuss mirena with my OB/GYN though and from what I understand it can be removed very easily should you decide to have a baby.
I agree with the dr. I went off the pill for that reason. Used NuvaRing for a few years, but the week of my period went from one day of a migraine to a week.
I had Mirena for a year, but my body hated it. Easy insertion and easy removal though. Some women love it.
