re: sick kitty and beware of "Revolution" medicine in pets

Brett and I have a long weekend ahead of us with around the clock syringe feedings of our kitten... He was treated for ear mites with an anti-parasitic called Revolution (Selamectin) 10 days ago- and he's one of the <1% who had a really bad, adverse reaction. It literally poisoned him. Luckily all his labs look perfect, just have to wait for the toxic med to be metabolized and get out of his body. Most of the consumer groups and Pfizer said most make a turn around on day 14 or so. *PLEASE* use caution with this medicine in your cats or dogs and be vigilant after application and report any issues to the drug company. Our little man will hardly move and has lost 20% of his body weight from anorexia. Send us some positive vibes, but hopefully we're just a couple of days away from turning the corner on this.
