Poll: One thing you would buy!
So our economy stinks right now.... and who really has extra money just sitting around? If you could buy one big or little thing for yourself what would it be? It doesn't just have to be for you, but feel free to be a selfish brat :-) It can also be for your household....
Re: Poll: One thing you would buy!
Ok, I already did this last week - but I had saved up since April. With everything that was going on with my health and the baby, poor Jude was taking care of everything for months (since Labor Day, really). And his birthday was last Thursday (we found out about Chloe on Wednesday) - so, I bought him a Wii for his birthday. Do you already have one? I didn't think I'd like it (I am not into video games) - but we are both having a great time. I can do Mario Kart from the couch, and it's hilarious to watch him bowl and box!
If you already have one - treat yourself to a trip to the spa. I never regret that.
Practical: New Camera - ours broke on our Honeymoon.
Selfish, Bratty: New fun shoes.
Clothes that fit! With all of the i/f treatments I have done lately I am literally busting out of my clothes.
But w/ no extra money (i/f has sucked up everything we have) I will continue to wear my "sausage" clothes as I call them.
Well a house would be nice but that's probably a few years down the line. New clothes would be great!
BLOG
Something tangible: a new grill. a fancy one. we grill year-round and our current grill is embarassing.
Not tangible: a vacation, like Lisa. I am dying to get away.
Practical: ?new (or new to us) car. ?My car died about 2 months ago and needs major work. ?We are still trying to decide whether or not we should fix it or buy new/used. ?We have to make the decision soon because it is due for inspection and registration in November.
Fun: ?Vacation! ?I have never (as an adult) had a vacation. ?We didn't even have a honeymoon. ?I'd love to get away with Evan somewhere fun. ?Everytime I take time off of work we end up moving or otherwise having non-fun stuff to do.?
I would love a great new wardrobe with lots of shoes!!
I also really want one of those Kitchen Aid stand mixers. But, they are SOOO expensive. I can't see spending $300 on it when it could go towards our heating bill.. ya know!?? = )
