I have 9 weeks to go and I am looking for some ideas for freezer meals or any suggestions to help on preparing food for when the baby comes. I've never done frozen meals before so what is the best packaging way to store them?
Re: Pregnant and need ideas
Stock your freezer- Annie's Eats

Freezer Friendly Preparation - What's Cookin, Chicago?
soups, lasagna, echiladas, meatballs/mini meatloaves
cooked ground beef...then it is ready to use for lots of stuff.
chicken breasts/ pork chops/etc frozen into portions for you and DH.
once baby is here, have sandwich stuff ready and lotsof fruits and veggies tha you can just grab and eat.
THIS - I will certainly have pasta gravy, lasagna, enchiladas and a few soups frozen I definately plan to have these on hands. I can only handle so much re-heated foods. Another one that's great to freeze is quiche, I plan to have a few of those. I have a food saver vacuum sealer so that is how I package things...
Before I gave birth I stocked our fridge with:
ham and corned beef (for sandwiches)
bagels
corn sticks and corn fritters
chicken tenders
lasagna
meaty penne
coleslaw
chard
meatballs and noodles
peas and brown rice
meatloaf
gingerbread
lemon pudding
baked pears
