No Broken Bones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O M Gosh! That was so fun! I haven't been on skates in Yearrrrss! I totally knew what I was doing but the fear of falling was holding me back BIG TIME. My dad used to freeze sheets of plastic in our backyard and build a rink for us to skate in the winter...you know, when the winter was cold, lol. And we used to go skating on this pond (AT&T building) in Paramus. I finally got into a bit of a groove just in time for it to be over. It's a work out. I can't believe how sweaty I got and how much energy it took to stay up, lol. And I can totally feel it in my legs and back already!

J was awesome. I had no idea he could skate so good. He did so good with W. I was scared that I would bring him down with me so I only skated with him a few times. He went around maybe 2 or 3 times. He was really nervous & scared but we tried to loosen him up. The skates they had were big but I brought extra socks and honestly, I don't think it really mattered, lol. There was a nice crowd but nothing crazy and a lot of new skaters and kids.

I'm so glad we went. We are DEFIANTLY going again!!!!!!!

Re: No Broken Bones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where did you go? Hackensack?
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • The Devils had open skate on their practice ice. It was cheaper than Hackensack. But I think we might end up going there simply cause its closer, more available & will probably have the right size skates for him.
