I know that this isn't really the time of year for it. But does anyone have any good recipes? Bonus points if it's low fat/cal!
"does this sweater make me look fat?" "no, the fact that your fat makes you look fat. That sweater just makes you look purple".
Re: Iced Coffee?
I drink iced coffee year round
I use cold brew method to make a big pot of it to keep on hand. Then, I just use whatever syrup/creamer I'm craving at the time.
The cold brew is super easy:
Iced Coffee
1 pound Ground Coffee (good, Rich Roast)
8 quarts Cold Water
Whatever cream, milk, syrup you like
In a large container, mix ground coffee with water. Cover and allow to sit at room temperature eight hours or overnight.
Line a fine mesh strainer with cheesecloth and set over a pitcher or other container. Pour coffee/water mixture through the strainer, allowing all liquid to run through. Discard grounds.
Place coffee liquid in the fridge and allow to cool. Use as needed.
