tear from child birth now hurting??
I tore when I had Isla. It was a 1st degree ( I think??) tear, but it is off to the side a bit, not straight down. I had a few stitches, and everything seemed to be going well. Just in the last couple of days, it has really started to bother me. The stitches are gone, but when I'm sitting, it's becoming uncomfortable and almost painful. Anyone have pain this late in the game? I had an episiotomy with E and ended up with a 3rd degree tear, but once it was healed, it didn't hurt. I have my 6 week check up with my OB Thursday, so I'll obviously discuss it with him then too.

I would absolutely bring it up on Thursday. Unless you are having new/concerning (ie foul smelling/itching/pain with urination) symptoms I think it's less likely anything is infected & so hopefully fine to wait until then.
Hope everything is on the mend soon.
