What are your summer plans?

Trying to come up with ideas for the summer, long weekends.  Anyone doing anything fun and exciting?

We went to Rehoboth Beach (Delaware) last summer with two other couples and we had a great time ... we're all talking about possibly going back again this summer.

I was also looking into LBI rentals a bit to throw out as another option. Cape May seemed nice when we stopped there for lunch on our way to Rehoboth.

Other nice places where MH and I have spent long weekends - Montreal, Philadelphia, Boston, Lake George NY, Washington DC. We like to explore rather than lay out on the beach, so I'm not sure if my suggestions are what you're looking for.

We are trying to buy a new house so I don't think we are going to do a summer vacation, which makes me sad. I think we might take a couple weeks off and do stay-cations. Day trips with the kids, and then send the kids into school and have some relaxing days with just the two of us.

Trying to plan a vacation with friends in August but working around work travel schedules, kids' camp schedules, etc.is proving difficult. Definitely a week somewhere this summer. Nothing too exciting so far. We usually go in with one week planned and then book up every weekend as we go along with last-minute weekend trips and out-of-state visits to friends.

we love vermont- manchester area, boston is fun, baltimore has lots to do, skytop lodge in pa although pricey, last year we went to hyatt on the chesapeake  it was fabulous.

We spend as much time as possible in LBI (we have 2 houses there)...that's where we always end up spending the majority of the summer.

A week in cape cod, week in Poconos, long weekend in Georgia (family reunion) and 4 days Ocean City, MD.  The week in Cape Cod is just the 4 of us the rest is with either side of family.

I think we are going to go to OC MD or Cape Cod for the 4th. My moms 55th bday is the 3rd so it would be nice. I also purchases Sesame Passes again, but that is it this year bc I will be giving birth in late aug

Weekends at the beach, going camping in PA, a trip to Missouri to visit my family, and maybe we will try Sesame Place this year.  And of course lots of pool time (if we still live in our condo - which I will not be heartbroken if we have to skip the pool time )

We are prob going to do a lot of Sesame Place, and LBI, maybe some other random side trips.

We're heading to TN for a week to stay at my brother's house & we'll do some day trips to Nashville & Lynchburg.  Other than that we'll be at the beach as much as possible.
