Bergen County 2nd Birthday Party
Hi
Has anyone had a birthday party in JellyBean Junction in Waldwick NJ? Would you recommend it? I am thinking about a Dance theme party for my daughter's 2nd birthday but I am not able to find much on that specific location.
We also have a 8 year old...is there activities there for older kids?
thanks
Re: Bergen County 2nd Birthday Party
I did the dance party there for my son's 3rd bday just 2 weeks ago. I was really nice. The kids all loved it. I'll probably do it again next year there just with a different theme. My only issue with them was I don't feel the main party hostess was strong enough. She wasn't able to really have command of the room in the dance part. But I also think that at 3, when many still wanted their parents with them, it might have been difficult to do. But the girl never said for the parents to go into the other room where they were "supposed" to hang out. Then the parents became a distraction.
I went to a party somewhere else today where I didn't like the structure of it- it was 50 min of play then eat quickly and back to play. I never saw something so dumb as to have kids get dirty with pizza juice and cake only to have to clean them off, send them back in for like 15 min then try to get them out again to go home. BUT there was a huge step up in the command of the room. And the hostesses both looked around the same age- so it was def a personality thing of the girl I had. She was just way too laid back or less commanding or whatever.
But I def recommend JBJ.

Thank you so much. Is it open on the weekend or does the party have to be during the week?
Love the idea of Cutie but the basic party is $800 and that is a little more than I want to spend.
I would love a cooking party but I cant find anything. Any other suggestions?
Jbj parties are on the weekend. And you pick the time- there is no set party schedule time. I did 11-12:30
