When to give dairy after stomach virus?
He hasn't thrown up since 10:30 Friday morning. Can I give him butter on his waffles? How about a cup of milk?
He's been acting perfectly normal since yesterday morning when he woke up.

i usually wait 2 days since the last puke
i give them my lactose free milk when they are sick if they are begging for milk... since the theory is that stomach viruses wipe out the ability to digest lactose for a few days.
Ah, I did not know that the virus wipes out the abililt to digest lactose for a few days! Good info! Thank you!
I'll tell my dh to pick up some lactose free milk.
