Plans for the day?

Nothing exciting here today.  Jonathan has a cough, Kyle is having a gout flareup so that means we'll spend they day at home.

So I'm going to make a Whole Wheat Stuffed Sausage and Broccoli Bread

and a pot of chicken corn chowder.  What about everyone else?

Re: Plans for the day?

  • I hope everyone feels better soon!

DS woke up very congested yesterday morning and it has only gotten worse, which means we will be staying in today as well.

I made some baked doughnuts for breakfast this morning and will be making a few other things this afternoon. Other than that we will just be relaxing!

  • Church, breakfast/brunch out and maybe some shopping afterwards. Hosting dinner for some friends tonight. Overall, easy peasy day!
  • I am heading to the gym for Bodypump class, then heading to the Planetarium for a show about the Northern Lights and making my recipe for SRC this afternoon.

  • I just finished meal planning and will work out as soon as I finish my coffee.  Then I plan to clean; go grocery shopping and work for a few hours.  No specific plans for the evening.

    BFP #2: 2/28/13. M/C 5w1d.
  • Just had breakfast (strawberry pancakes for me, eggs and toast for DH) and now hanging out with some coffee.  In about an hour, we are leaving to visit our friend's newborn twins, then going to my parents to eat.  No cooking for the rest of the day!

  • Stil lounging with my coffee, soon need to workout (ugh I've got no motivation today!) then might go stroll the mall and then I need to vac and wash the floors. That's about it. Nice and quiet before our next few crazy weekends begin. :-/
  • Still in bed right now!! I said this yesterday too, but I am so glad our dogs learned how to sleep in!! Going to finish meal planning, then grocery shop for home and for work (high school culinary arts teacher), work out, hopefully a little fun shopping, and finish cleaning up from our party last night!
  • I think its just going to be a lazy day for me. I really need to work out but I'm sore all over. I hope I just slept wrong and I'm not getting sick.

I have a lemon, strawberry and blueberry bread in the oven and a veggie risotto planned for lunch. I cleaned out the fridge and needed to use up those ingredients before they go bad.

Other than cooking, I need to vacuum.

  • I currently have these in the oven for breakfast/brunch:  http://spoonforkbacon.com/2012/01/baked-egg-boats/

After that is laundry/straightening up a bit. I'll be going to the grocery this afternoon and also to Zumba. Making a pot of chili for dinner tonight and lunches this week.

Watching season premiere of Walking Dead tonight!

  • Deep clean this morning for MIL's visit this week then hit up the farmer's market and grocery. Then put on 18 layers of clothes and go to DH's game. Tonight we need to get ready for an INSANELY busy week and watch the Amazing Race!

  • Not sure here.  We had our weekend french press and I started making buttermilk donuts only to discover we were out of eggs.  DH ran to the store to get some.  Waiting for him to get back so we can have breakfast.  Will probably discuss our plans then.  Maybe out for lunch, or to a winery, then will think of something to make for dinner.  Also have to make our meal plan for the week, grocery list and probably do the shopping.  Nothing too exciting.  Maybe bake something to take to school tomorrow.

  • Slept in a bit since Bella is with her grandparents :)

Frank had to run into the city to drop materials off to a client, so I've been doing some cleaning.  I also made Lightened Up Eggplant Parmigiana for dinner on Tuesday.

The 3 of us are going to my BIL's restaurant for lunch, then to SIL's house after that for a visit.  Probably won't have anything big for dinner since we're sure to have a lot for lunch.

  • Good Morning!

I was up early to tackle some work before DH woke up. I just finished a batch of red velvet donuts. We'll bring those by some friends and visit a bit. I need to go into work this afternoon to do some prep for this busy conference week. I'm hoping to run a few errands too. Tonight I am hoping to bake a Valentine treat and relax a bit. DH is at a dinner meeting, so I will be enjoying something with eggplant!  I need to get in a run but I haven't decided where it will fit.

  • Still laying in bed, and working on blog posts. We didn't get home until 2 AM and I'm feeling old right now! I want to get up soon and make a quiche for brunch.

Today we will probably do our taxes, pay bills, fold laundry, basically nothing exciting. Later I plan to roast a chicken. I also have some work to do to prepare for a meeting tomorrow morning.

  • Cleaning: cat boxes, vacuum, sweep, scrub the tub, clean out fridge, get living room situated (for the time being before we put in new floors)

    Organization: mail

Cooking: sandwiches for lunch, chili for dinner, might make some brownies or something to use the oven since it's cold today

Evening: lounging, video games or reading

  • Finishing my coffee and about to freshen up to do some coupon shopping.

Later I want to make some chocolate cupcakes and try and make a new chocolate frosting, wedding planning work, and resting. I'm finally just about kicked this cold and I want to be 100% well for my trip to Maine next weekend!

  • We have a showing scheduled, so we're cleaning. I made pancakes for breakfast, and set up some chili in the crockpot, and now I'm cleaning and vacuuming, and will take DS to Monkey Joe's while we have to be out of the house.
  • Just got back from church. I am going to package fudge for my family since we are having a Valentine's Day dinner at my parents tonight. I also have to do Valentines for my students.

  • We did our weekly shopping run this morning.  I'm about to suit up for a run, and after come home and hang out.  That's the plan - but usually my Sunday plans are always set awry by DH wanting to go "do something" so we'll see how that goes.

  • We went to church this morning, had roast for lunch, and now I'm about to help DH put the girls down for naps so I can go to my facial appointment.  Afterwards, I'm hoping I'll be motivated to start sewing a duvet for my daughter's big girl bed.  :)
