Beginner Yoga Class?

Hey Ladies,

    Was wondering if anyone knew of any good Yoga classes for beginners in my area? I'm in the Warwick area. I took a few classes in Rockland about a year ago and enjoyed it... But life got busy, and I never followed through. I would like to give it another try.. but don't know of ANY places up here?

Hi!  I just saw your intro post..I live close to you in Chester.  Straubs in Chester/goshen (right on the line, not sure which town it's really in) actually has a good instructor.  The classes are tue, thurs at 630 and sun at 1130.  I used to go often but lately they don't fit into my schedule:( The membership rates are very reasonable there.  

 

Also, happy Buddha in goshen is good.  I've heard good things about the one on main st in Warwick (on the left as you come in from Florida right on main st- forget the name) and also there's a new studio in Chester that is supposedly good as well-body art and yoga my Michelle.  She does henna too, hence the name.  There used to be a nice studio right in FL but it closed last year.  HTH.

This DEFINITELY helps! I saw Happy Buddha online, and it looked interesting. I'll check out the other ones you mentioned too. I'm a little anxious to get started.. but I've got a lot going on this week and next.. May be better to just wait until I can at least go to 2 classes in the same week.

Also, I just remembered that Laura (the one I like at Straubs) also teaches at golds in Harriman.  So maybe check that out too.
