If you use cloth napkins at home

How many do you have?

I want to make the switch but not sure how many to get at first - one per person per day?  Per meal?

Re: If you use cloth napkins at home

  • we really only eat dinner together as a family, breakfast is quick and lunch is at school. On weekends we try to do one lunch at home together but with soccer, mass, activities, playdates its hard. We have 12 cloth napkins that are washable and no iron and we go through those.
  • I think 12 would be fine.  We're not there yet in our life because Julia needs multiple napkins per meal, but when we were just us we had a set of 12 that we used at dinner and I never ran out.  I threw them in with the dish towels once a week and we always seemed to have clean ones ready.
