Baby shower question

Hey all,

A friend of mine whom had twins a year and a half ago is now pregnant again. For her first pregnancy I helped coordinate a baby shower, but was wondering do folks often do baby showers for their second pregnancy? No one has said anything about it, but I was wondering if this is something that generally happens the second time around.

i've heard it done.  it's not un-common.  but with the kids so close, unless there is a gender change usually the gifts get aimed at pampering mom instead of supplying for the baby.  i mean, sure there's still going to be stuff needed like diapers and etc., so you can always get that stuff.

I would check with the mom I have been to a few "sprinkles" but we aren't planning on one for our 2nd pregnancy since we still have all the baby stuff from #1 and we are team green so we wont know the sex until they are born so we are planning a drop in meet and greet instead.  So i would check with her....particularly if she got boy/girl twins .

It's technically a no-no in etiquette, but I've been to a few and don't have a problem as long as isn't all about the gifts.
