are you writing classmates' names on valentines?

I am in the process of getting everything ready to make valentines for Danny's class.    The teacher sent home a list of the kids' names.   I was just going to skip putting their names on it and just putting from Danny on each one.   This way it makes it easier to pass out.   They are all going to be the same(teddy grahams in the bag with attached tag saying "Have a beary special Valentine's Day"

W's school requests we do. They send home a list of everyone in the class along with a note about how much the kids love handing them out. They make little mailboxes out of tissue boxes and deliver them to each other. It's adorable. I still have his from last year!

Yes. But my kid is 6 and can doit himself.i don't remember what we did in the past.iprobaly wrote the classmates' names and he signed his name to each.

We were told not to for 2 reasons.  1, so the students didn't have to worry about reading names.  and 2 so that each students gets the same treat.

Yes, we were told to. Ours also have to fit into a mailbox slot, so just the cards, nothing attached.

grace's teacher asked us not to, to save her the hassle of having to organize everything.  that and i suspect there have been more than a few occasions of someone losing 1 valentine which result in a huge tizzy.

P&J's teacher request the names be put on them but they want each of the kids name to be in their color with heart next to them in the color as well. Each of the kids are assigned a color (and symbol) so they can recognize what is theirs!

Great idea!  We just wrote the names, no guidance was given.

Great idea!  We just wrote the names, no guidance was given.

They do this for everything! It works really well, even when the twins bring home papers from school they know which ones are theirs because Preston's has yellow bear and Jordana has blue star!

I did. I actually asked the director for the names of all the kids since there are a lot in her class.

yes but both my kids can read. Before in the 3/4 classes no we were asked not to.

We were provided a name list vs the typical kid count so I assume they want us too. They can all read each other's names at this point. (which I was surprised to learn)

i'm not only b/c they didn't send the list home until friday and we had to bring ours in on friday bc the kids don't go to daycare on tuesdays.

otherwise i would have put the names on b/c it's a learning activity for them to pass them out.
