anyone know anything about infant eye color?
baby girl has 2 different colored eyes. the right side turned brown and the left stayed the original steel blue/gray. we thought they were just changing at different rates but the left side doesn't seem to be changing at all. consulted dr. google who told me this could be a symptom of disease, trauma, syndromes and that we should consult our doctor. I sort of doubt it's a medical emergency but I am curious... is this almost definitely a symptom of something or could this just be how her eyes are? or maybe the other eye will still change?

Re: anyone know anything about infant eye color?
It can just be how her eyes will be. There's an actress with a brown and blue eye... And eye color can change up to a year so it still has time to change. I would probably see what the pedi says at her next check up, but I wouldn't make a special appt for it. DSs eyes are super blue right now which is fascinating me since my girls have dark dark brown eyes as does my DH. Infant eye color can be so fun. If she ends up with two colors that would be pretty unique!
I have had friends with 2 different color eyes before.
Also, my brother has one brown eye and one that is half blue, half brown (on the same eye). I think it's neat.

If they are different now, I would guess they will stay that way. My sister used to have a friend with one blue eye and one brown eye. It's cool.
I think your LO is headed that way, given your description. DS's eyes just got bluer and bluer, and DD's were clearly hazel (currently slate and brown, working toward my green-hazel hue, eventually, I think) from pretty early.
