So, the dog had a few accidents this weekend. I've cleaned them all up and used my Bissel steam cleaner to do the best I can, but it still smells like urine. Anyone have any tricks to get the smell out? It's driving me crazy!!!

Re: Urine smell in carpet
I found that I have had to clean the carpets several times before the smell goes away. I've also used vinegar and soaked the carpet with it and then put a towel over the carpet to soak up the excess. It sure smells bad when the vinegar is wet but it dries with no smell.
Also if you clean the carpet with Natures Own when the accident is first found it will help cut down on the smell and help to keep them from going there again.
I don't spray the Natures Own, I pour it on the carpet and soak it good all the way down to the pad, then I use a towel to get the excess out of the carpet. It takes a little while for it to dry but sure has helped our carpet.
