When I moved to NH, I thought it was strange that kids go trick-or-treating on the night before Halloween. Is this a New England thing? Anyhoo...
1. What are you and/or your kid(s) dressing up as for Halloween this year?
2. What is one of your most favorite or most creative costumes that you have worn in the past?
3. Do you get trick-or-reaters? If yes, what are you handing out this year? If no, what's the weirdest candy/item you've gotten as a trick-or-treater.
4. Do you like scary movies? If yes, which one do you like the most? If no, which one can't you stand watching?
Re: Beggars' Night Poll
1. My co-worker and I dressed up as Mario and Luigi for a Halloween contest at work. I don't plan on dressing up for Halloween itself, though.
2. I don't remember this costume, but my sisters dressed me up as a washing machine when I was younger.
3. We don't get trick-or-treaters at home, but I am handing out tootsie rolls and Dum-Dums for the day care kids at work. Growing up, I used to get a box of cereal from one house every year.
4. I'm a wimp when it comes to watching scary movies. I cannot watch The Exorcist. Just hearing the theme song freaks me out.

3. Do you get trick-or-reaters? If yes, what are you handing out this year? If no, what's the weirdest candy/item you've gotten as a trick-or-treater. Stupid Manchester did TOTing on Sunday!! Lame... Anyway, we only got 4 kids and we handed out mini Milky Way, 3 Muskateers, and little packs of Skittles.
4. Do you like scary movies? If yes, which one do you like the most? If no, which one can't you stand watching? I love them! I like the "Saw" movies and the original 1970s "Halloween" with Jamie Lee Curtis.

No kids, and we aren't doing anything for Halloween.
2. What is one of your most favorite or most creative costumes that you have worn in the past?
Not me, but my brother dressed up like the character Captain Underpants one year, and it was hilarious!
3. Do you get trick-or-reaters? If yes, what are you handing out this year? If no, what's the weirdest candy/item you've gotten as a trick-or-treater.
We don't get any, but for work I bought snickers, and dum dums. I got toothpaste one year.
4. Do you like scary movies? If yes, which one do you like the most? If no, which one can't you stand watching?

When I moved to NH, I thought it was strange that kids go trick-or-treating on the night before Halloween. Is this a New England thing?
I don't think it is a new england thing - but they do it so parents can be home with their kids....every halloween when I worked in Boston, I would have to take off because it would take me 3+ hours to get home, when it would normally take 1.5 hours...
1. What are you and/or your kid(s) dressing up as for Halloween this year? nothing, although I may put on my wedding gown to hand out candy, since I haven't worn it in forever and I love it
2. What is one of your most favorite or most creative costumes that you have worn in the past? nothing really
3. Do you get trick-or-reaters? If yes, what are you handing out this year? If no, what's the weirdest candy/item you've gotten as a trick-or-treater.
We get trick-or-treaters, but we haven't gotten the candy yet
4. Do you like scary movies? If yes, which one do you like the most? If no, which one can't you stand watching? Sometimes - I don't really "like" any of them per sey...but the exorcist totally freaks me out
1. What are you and/or your kid(s) dressing up as for Halloween this year?
I'm not dressing up, but Collin is going to be a lion.
2. What is one of your most favorite or most creative costumes that you have worn in the past?
I honestly don't remember being anything except one year my mom helped me make a Cousin It costume.
3. Do you get trick-or-reaters? If yes, what are you handing out this year? If no, what's the weirdest candy/item you've gotten as a trick-or-treater.
I don't know if we would. We weren't home last year for whatever reason and it was our first year in this house. We'll be out again this year too. I'm sure there are some kids, we have a very trick-or-treat friendly neighborhood.
4. Do you like scary movies? If yes, which one do you like the most? If no, which one can't you stand watching?
I'll watch them but I don't have a particular favorite. Its definitely not my favorite genre.
1. I am not dressing up (no parties for us this year) and we don't have kids.
2. I was never ultra creative when it came to Halloween, but my mom used to hand make all my costumes when my brother and I were little. Probably my favorite one was a Cinderella dress that looked just like the one in the movie!
3. We don't get trick-or-treaters except for family members that come here on purpose. This year we just bought one bag of kit-kats. As for a weird item, one year when I was still living at home my brother gave a kid a baked potato. No joke, we were eating dinner and kept getting interrupted by trick-or-treaters and he just grabbed a baked potato off the table and stuck it in one of the kids bags! We were all dying laughing in the other room, but he just kept a straight face and shoved the bowl of candy in their faces so they didn't really notice. As he was closing the door we hear the kid say ",,,I think he gave me a potato..." Too funny!
4. Yes, love em, but DH is wimpy so I don't watch them anymore. My favorties are the old Halloween ones with Jamie Lee Curtis.
1. Not dressing up. But, I wish we had some awesome Halloween party to go to!
2. My mom made alot of my costumes when I was younger. I remember she made this Witch costume that I LOVED! I wore that thing till I physically could not wear it anymore! I had these awesome clip on skeleton earings that LOVED LOVED LOVED! And I had my own little broom that I carried around. That was a great costume!! LOL!
3. We get alot of trick or treaters in our neighborhood. We live right near an elementary school. I love to hand out candy to all the little kids. We always carve pumpkins and put them out on the steps. But, this year I waited too long to carve the pumpkins and wanted to do it with Brianna on wednesday, but it was super cold out and there was no way I was going to do it inside with all the construction going on. We just hand out Reses PB cups, little snickers, milkyways etc.
4. I never really got weird treats. I remember my neighbor used to give us a can of soda and a bag of chips.
5. I love the old Halloween movie w/ Jamie Lee Curtis. That is my ultimate favorite Halloween movie! I also like Exorcism of Emily Rose.. however it scares me to death because it is a true story!
