Do you buy your kiddos a valentine gift?

If so what are you getting them? I of course have waited until the last minute and now trying to come up with something cute.

Re: Do you buy your kiddos a valentine gift?

  • We went with undies. DD and I picked out silly boxers for Dad, Dad and I bought her some fun undies, and DD and dad picked out some for me.

We won't do any other gift item. She decorated a giant paper bag and we went shopping for the food bank list of needs and she will drop that off.

    We don't need more clutter!

  • I'll get him a card and some candy, but other than that no.  We are getting dressed up and having a "date" for dinner though.
  • I bought DD the "Tangled" soundtrack and a card and some m&m's.  DS gets a card and a glow ball.  DH gets a card and some reese's peanut butter cups.  Nothing big but fun :)

  • Sometimes I do, but not usually.  When the big boys were old enough to notice but still young enough to get excited, I got them gifts.  One year I put little stuffed bears on their pillows just before they woke up, and that was pretty cool.

This year I'm making candy covered Oreos and will deliver it to their school (I'll actually be there anyway).  I'm making some for my MOPS ladies too.

  • We don't.  They're too young to really care and we've got enough stuff around here anyhow.

  • She gets a card and a small plastic hershey kiss that has 3 kisses in it.  Same thing she got last year.

  • I usually give them a card and a little gift.  dd2 is getting some nail polish I found in the clearance section of the grocery and I think dd1 will get a cheer bow.

  • My kiddos are getting a box of conversation hearts and that's it.

  • The boys will each get a small box of candy and a card.  I am sending chocolate covered strawberries to the house for DD.  She loves getting packages;  She thinks it is very cool.
  • A small box of chocolates and a Star Wars figurine.  We don't buy toys but for holidays and birthdays.

  • I have a card for each of them (the Grandma's sent some M&M candy items) and I'll get them both a balloon.  They love balloons and the dollar store has plenty.

Are you united with the CCOKCs?

  • DH's family gives gifts for everything so Oma sent her an outfit, some play cookies and some m&m's and one of her aunts sent her a stuffed animal, book, and a bunch of candy.  I figured she had enough (considering she doesn't even know what VDay is) but then I saw an "Elmo Loves You" dvd and I couldn't resist buying that for her because she is obsessed with Elmo right now.

  • I wasn't really planning on it, but dd is currently obsessed with Daisy Duck and I had been thinking about looking for a stuffed Daisy for her.  I found one on Amazon then realized I can have it overnighted for $3.99.

  • Each is getting a little box of Kinder Riegel chocolate bars (German chocolate MIL got them hooked on from Cost Plus).  That's really it.
