Zoe will be 1 on Friday! Holy crap! It's hard to believe that a year ago I had no clue that Zoe would be born in just a few days.
We are having a small party for her on Saturday. My parents, H's parents, my sister, and a few close friends will be here. I am so excited for the cake that Mindy is going to make. We are going to have a Winnie the Pooh theme since Zoe looooves Pooh bear!
She cut her 3rd tooth last week! It's the top right one. The top left one should soon follow.
Still no walking but she is a super fast cruiser along anything she can balance on.
We had our first ultrasound on Friday and the doctor confirmed she saw a heartbeat. So with that, I decided to come out on here and announce that I am 9 weeks pregnant. We are so excited! EDD is 9/18/12.
So far we have told my parents and sister/BIL. This weekend we will see H's parents (who will be in FL visiting from MA) and plan to tell them as well as call his brother and announce the news. I think after that we will move forward with telling friends and other family. I wanted to wait until 12 weeks have passed, but it is killing me to not talk about it with my close friends. They are all going to be so excited to hear the news!

I noticed you had posted a few times, and I was like, yay, Kara is back! I hadn't seen you around in a while.
Congrats April! Your EDD is my H's bday.
Chloe has RSV and an ear infection. This is her first time sick and she got hit big with it. Poor baby. We have to do breathing treatments and she's on antibiotics. She's had it for about a week and she seems better. We go today for a follow up.
Other than that she's a happy baby. Gives the BIGGEST smiles. Ahh.. is it 3:30 yet?!

Kennedy is going to be one on Sunday!! It just doesn't seem possible. We're having a party for her on Saturday. She's really making progress with her fine motor skills lately, and she's starting to crawl forward a little bit here and there. It all depends on the motivation. She has to really want to do it!
We decided on a name this weekend - Caleb Alexander (although I haven't announced it on FB yet.) I'm still waiting for my blood test to get scheduled, if they don't figure it out soon we may skip it unless there is anything questionable on the 20 week ultrasound. I'm still having crazy amounts of back and hip pain, but I don't have much time for massages. I've already noticed some braxton hicks contractions, which seems crazy early to me, but apparently that's common in subsequent pregnancies. Otherwise I feel great!

Last week we went to celebrate Beckett turning 4 by spending a couple days at Disney. We had the best time- it was 100 times more fun than when we'd went when he was too young to really enjoy it. There were seriously times I got all teary watching him get swept up in the magic of it all.
Maisy has finally kicked a nearly 3 week viral infection that wouldn't go away. She also cut two teeth during that time, so it was never ending snot and drool. Good times. It is crazy how much more often the younger sibling of a child in preschool gets sick than when you just have one and they are home with you.
Maisy is making a little more progress in walking. She took her first unassisted steps over a month ago, but hasn't had too much confidence to really take off. She'll usually take a couple steps and then lunges at someone or something. This weekend we discovered everything changes when there are Goldfish involved. Hold up the bag, and she'll teeter across the room to get to them. She is father's daughter for sure.
ETA I just realized our Disney trip wasn't last week, but the week before. How does time fly by so fast these days?

Lila is doing great. She is bulldozing her toys around the living room and flipping them over. With her new found strength, there has also been several bumps on the head. I can't believe how quickly she has grown. Any day now she should be walking... just waiting for her to take those steps. She seems pretty content getting around on her walker though. I am hoping that she takes off by her birthday, I have a feeling that our clubhouse remodel isn't going to be finished in time, and we may be having the party outside in a tent
I don't want her messing up her party dress crawling around in the dirt! lol

Well, Amelia is 7 weeks tomorrow, and after the first 5 weeks of exhaustion and late night temper tantrums (both the baby and myself) , I think I've finally got this getting her to sleep thing down! I know we haven't had to tackle things like teething, fevers, and congestion yet, but at least now I know that I can put her down, and in her own room at that! She's in her bouncer, in her room, and sleeping for 4-8 hour stretches! Mama's sleeping with dad again and we are all happy! Getting to know her has been awesome and I don't want her to grow up!

I've got my 24 month appt. today after work and I can't rememebr what's going to happen at this one but I think not a lot. I know I'm not having an u/s because we had one at the last one, so I'm going to this appt. alone because H can't miss work for every single one. So I don't expect it will be all that exciting, but I do think it's cool to say I'm 6 months. That seems far.
Oh yeah and we spent all day Sunday putting together bookcases for the nursery to do this whole wall unit, and then we could not get them attached to the wall. Sigh. My dad is coming up in 2 weeks and he said he will help us.
The twins have finally mastered stairs. We don't have stairs in our condo and were at a friends house this weekend where they had no gates for the stairs. So needless to say they were very entertained with going up and down holding onto the railing. Can check that off the list!
We took them to the Shedd Aquarium yesterday for the first time. They loved all the fish! The jellies exhibit is cool, but pretty small. We all got in for free which is a huge bonus! DH works for a company that is a big donator so he gets in for free as one of their employees and I was surprised that I also got in for nothing. Of course the twins are still free since they are under 3. We will definitely be going more often now!
Evie is 6 weeks tomorrow! Where did the time go? She had her 1 month appointment last week and everything looks good. She was up to 7 lbs, 2 oz and 18 3/4 inches and the doctor was really pleased with how much she had gained (she was 5 lbs at 10 days). She's below the 5th percentile on all her measurements, but her individual growth between appointments looked perfect. I think she's just going to be a little girl
She's still in newborn clothes and even a lot of those don't fit yet. Someday she may get into her 0-3 stuff. Hopefully the stuff I have will still work weather-wise by the time she can fit in them.
I have my 6 week PP appointment tomorrow. I'm excited to get the green light for sex, but I'm a bit nervous about actually doing it. It's been a few months now...I'm also not sure what to do about BC. I know I don't want an IUD, so I'm thinking we'll do the mini-pill. Not a great option since I hate hormonal BC, but I don't think there's really any other choice.

Thanks for the well wishes Jen! Seems like ages ago, actually I think it was years ago, that I met you at a GTG. I lurk on here a lot, but rarely post. I shouldn't be on here while at work! I do come here and read the posts although the board is so much slower than it used to be.
Looking forward to meeting my little one. I hope all goes well and it's a successful 9 months! (less than that now!)

I found out today that I passed my 3-hour glucose test, thank goodness! I go in tomorrow for my growth scan, can't wait to see her again.
Nothing too much to report other than we are having an early u/s tomorrow to determine the sex of baby H. I am holding off on sharing what my intuition is telling me because last time I was wrong! I am just hoping the baby will cooperate. I thought it would be a fun valentine's present for H and I.
MacKenzie has been wonderful lately when it comes to naps and going to bed. She actually tried crawling into her crib the other day when I asked her if she was ready for a nap. I really hope she is making up for all the sleepless nights due to her GERD! And I certainly hope the new baby doesn't have GERD for all our our sakes!

Pregnancy: I'm doing great! no complaints just getting bigger every week. I can't believe I'm almost in my 3rd tri.
Nic is turning 3 next week and we are having a party back in Miami this weekend. Time seemed to crawl the first year of Nic's life but now I look back and it was a blink in our lives. I'm a little nostalgic b/c he is growing so fast and he is the sweetest little guy and I want to keep him innocent like this forever.
