Hi Girls! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. As usual, it went quickly!
We went to visit our friends' 3 month old twin girls yesterday! They were just precious, I posted pics to FB if you want to see them. Since they live in Brooklyn, we stopped in Staten Island on the way back to eat with my parents and then stopped at my aunt's house who had knee surgery this week. It was a full day. The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful and relaxing.
Hope you are having a good day so far!
Re: Happy Monday!
My weekend was kinda boring, but that's ok. I needed to rest to try to get over this stupid cold.
Friday night DH picked up pizza for dinner and we just watched some tv then went to bed early.
Saturday we went to the groccery store in the morning. In the afternoon, DH got new tires on his truck and ran a few other errands. I stayed home and did some laundry and watched The Help. That night DH went out to grab dinner and we watched Moneyball.
Sunday I did very little. I made dinner and that was about it. We played a little Wii in the evening and just chilled.
My weekend was really nice!
Friday evening hubby and I got Chinese and vegged on the couch.
Saturday got up early and I went shopping and out to lunch with my MOH while hubby worked...then home to get ready for our Valentine's dinner/movie date. We went to see "Safe House". It was really good. You can't go wrong with Denzel and Ryan Reynolds...drool .
Sunday we slept in since we didn't get home until almost 1. DH made bfast and then I started to sort through our closet and dressers. I got rid of SO MUCH STUFF! Found things I had forgotten about...it was a life changing afternoon..LOL. We went to the store for groceries and then home and made dinner and watched some TV. I should have done homework...but I couldn't bring myself to do it!
The weekends do go by too quickly, don't they?
Saturday we ran errands (gave the car a bath and vacuum, returned something to Babies R Us, stopped by Tiffany to drop off my bracelet, bought nursing bras). We were all over town. Then H installed the car seat base in my car. We need to get both looked at some time this week at the fire station. I also did laundry and we finally (finally) organized the baby room so everything is put it away and ready to go. Saturday afternoon it snowed! I posted a pic to FB, but it all melted about an hour after it fell. It was beautiful while it lasted.
Sunday I slept until 10am then took a nap from 11am-1pm. I was so tired. I still went to bed last night at 9pm. Thankfully we didn't do much of anything else except a quick trip to Kroger since neither one of us felt up to our weekly shopping trip at Wal-Mart.
Today is my 35/35!! (35 weeks, 35 days to go) Ahh! It's getting so close.
Weekend was fun!
Friday was low key -we went to a local restaurant and got burgers - and I caved and had a beer (draft Shock Top w/ an orange slice YUM) and it was delish!
Then Saturday we hit the gym and cleaned a bit before going out for Sami's bday. We went (with 16 of our closest friends) to a hibachi restaurant and it was great! Service was horrible - they just reopened at a new location and I don't think they have been anticipating the rush! But food was good and atmosphere was good. Then we went bowling - fun! After the two scorpion bowls for two for Sami he was a bit tipsy LOL as was his drinking partner in crime... who totally wiped out in front of 20 of us while bowling, fouled, then realized it wasn't even his turn. omg we were crying. Sami had a good time and that made me happy. He was also surprised with his superhero cupcakes! yay!
Then Sunday I photographed another bridal show. This was fun but tiring... def hit the couch hard after lol...
This week is the week before vacation!
YAY cannot wait to sleep in a bit next week!
HAve a good week!
9 Glorious Months!

Our weekend was a blast! We went to this great wine place called Wine Vault in Midtown Miami on Saturday Night. Sunday we took my cousin & her husband from Ecuador thur Coral Gable, Coocnut Grove, Brickell, Down Town, Mid Town, and the new Miami Marlins Stadium in Little Havana. Hope you all have a wonderful week.
Our weekend was pretty uneventful. DH and I were both home so we did a lot of cleaning and around the house stuff that we have been putting off. Sunday was just grocery shopping and we went to my parents house for dinner.
I am finding out the gender of the baby on Saturday so I am sure this week is going to DRAG on. Also, my car broke down (radiator blew up) on Friday so we might be doing some car shopping on Saturday too!
Friday I laid down at 530, slept till 730 and went back to bed about 10...obviously not a very productive or entertaining night.
Saturday we went laptop shopping, out for lunch and then to the casino. We went in with $30 each and walked out with $45 total. So a $15 loss for a couple hours entertainment wasn't too bad. Added bonuses, H's parents were there and his dad handed him a $50 bill and after he walked away his mom slipped him a $100 bill! So technically we came out $195 ahead! Oh, and they had bought me a copy of Breaking Dawn that morning that they had dropped off with SIL earlier in the day to get to me.
Sunday I went to a friends and we scrapbooked for a few hours. I'm so behind on it that I am STILL working on our wedding scrapbook.
Friday night DH and I went out for our Valentine's dinner since he's working Tuesday night and after dinner went to his brother's for a little gtg they were having.
Saturday I went to the gym, weighed in at LA (down 15 lbs!), got my nails done and stopped at the drug store to pick up some things....when I came out, my car wouldn't start, ugh! DH came and saved me and took my car to have the battery checked out. It was fine and my car hasn't given me any problems since, so who knows what the issue was. DH worked in the evening, so I went to dinner with my parents.
Sunday I spent the day with my friend picking up stuff for her wedding on Saturday. We were gone ALL day, which I wasn't expecting, so I didn't get anything else done that I wanted to.

Ditto! That's awesome news! Keep up the good work!
Happy Monday!!
Firstly, it's a really happy Monday for me because I found time to nest on a Monday - which almost never happens anymore ;-)
This weekend was a slow also in a good kind of way - Mom and I went to the Market, and H and I went out to lunch over the weekend, but for the most part it was bone chilling cold here in MD and I hung in very close to the fire!

@Liz: Yay on reaching your 35/35!
@Lindsay: Congrats! You should be so proud of such a huge accomplishment!
My weekend was crazy busy! Friday we ran some errands. Saturday we cooked most of the day (freezer meals), and finally vegged a little at night. Sunday was church, cleaning up from Saturday, working on the baby's room, packing the hospital bags, and watching a little bit of the Grammy's.
Today I feel so tired and out of sorts. I had a few contractions this morning and I think it wiped me out!
