I love the idea of making heart-shaped pancakes for Valentine's dinner for the fam tomorrow night but I don't have a heart-shaped cookie cutter (I don't think) nor do I have one of those fancy heart-shaped forms specifically designed for making heart-shaped pancakes. Any tips or tricks for doing it without those things?

Got a pancake pen? If not a piping bag? If not then a ziplock bag with the corner cut off?

Then fill it with batter and basically drawn the heart and fill it in.

(I've only done it with a pancake pen, but the ziplock should work.)

That would be a much better priced pancake pen. LOL. Wish I had thought of that. Though I think an empty ketchup bottle in MH's stocking would have been even lamer than a pancake pen. (It was for his Star Wars pancake molds).

Oooh, now I need the Star Wars pancake molds! Both my daughter and husband are huge fans! Next year!
