Those chair massager things
Not the massage chairs but those pads you put on a chair and plug in. Anyone have one? Any good?

my coworker let me use hers through the duration of my second/third trimester at my desk and when i went on an excessively long road trip. which was incredible of her because i was in pretty much constant back pain.
it worked ok, though sometimes you have to writhe a little to get the vibrators to hit just the right spot (that's what she said) and it's only as good as how well you can keep it from bunching up, sliding down into a crumpled ball in the small of your back. and if you use the heating pad, like all heating pads, it is prone to getting too hot occasionally.
but i did like that it had the car adaptor, very good idea for long car rides.
I have one and like it. It doesn't do the same as a real massage but it helps in a pinch. I carry ALL of my stress in my shoulders and upper back so I get a lot of use out of it. Mine looks similar to this:
I also have this thing from Brookstone and it's AWESOME. It's really heavy and does a really deep massage. I love it.
Both were gifts but if I was going to spend my own money on one I'd choose the i-need neck massager.
There are few different types out there, some are just vibrations that usually have a heat option and other have the shiatsu type (which MrsKizdoodle displayed here). If you are going to go with any of them I would totally recommend the shiatsu type, it is awesome. BUT the only problem with these is you are not supposed to use them for longer then 15 mins at one time...I bet most people who own them would be shocked to hear that, but it's true...15 mins!
On another note, these chairs are not going to help or improve your pain, it may shadow it for a bit or make it feel good for a little while, but a chair can't replace the real thing.
My my two cents.
