Colorado Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Re: Clicky Poll: Humidifiers
We are a house divided.
I love them, and use them when someone is sick - especially a younger someone. I figure if they're in continual use it's probably safer than if the water sits for a few days at a time.
DH thinks they are riddled with germs...although he had a big discussion once with me about Legionnaires Disease when we lived in our old house, and that freaked me out.
PHOTOS REMOVED
I've read that if you run vinegar through it for a half hour then rinse it all out and let air dry that will clean it.
Growing Up Olson
When we first moved here we used it every single winter. But now that we've lived here awhile I don't feel like I need it anymore, so we haven't used it for at least the last 2 winters.
We just run DD's when she is sick.
