Looking for a terrier mix in New England
My tenant/friend who lost his 3 legged JRT in Dec. is ready for a new companion. I met him at a shelter this weekend but it wasn't the right one. I figured I'd post here just in case anyone hears of one in the area, knowing how many of us work in rescue!

Must be housebroken or close to it (since I own the house, LOL) and not too young or too sick (since he just lost one to lepto).
I sent him some petfinder links today and there are a couple promising candidates. Fingers crossed he finds the right pup soon!
Oh and my ulterior motive for being extra super helpful is that he is also considering older dogs that were former breeding stock and I want him to rescue instead. (Especially since at least one of the breeders didn't seem reputable at all. She told him no when he said he'd like to meet the dog more than once to make sure there was a connection).
