I am torn on how I feel about this. Tonight H and I are looking at a home in the perfect location with a perfect shop for him. The home looks as if it is in very nice shape but could use some updating. My issue with it is that it is a pre fab home. It is not stick built, but also does not appear to just be a trailer on a basement. I will better know my stance after we examine the property and I am able to get build information on the home. My question is have you, are you, or would you consider living in a prefab home?
Re: Pre Fab homes
I grew up in a prefab home.
It was built in the mid-70s in tornado country. It's still standing.
Probably wouldn't be my first choice of a home, but I wouldn't rule it out.
