Collins is a bed wh0re....
Because its slow I thought I'd share this story of my ridiculous puppers.
DH bought a new dog bed cuz it was on crazy sale! The bed is for Ziva because Collins stole the last two we bought. She's stolen this one too.... Thankfully she's a sharer and 'allows' Ziva to share it with her. Obviously a 35lb pointer needs THREE beds.....

& fwiw, our 65lb Pointer needs 2 dog beds (which he, of course, never sleeps on....well, he sleeps on 1...which is a big ole tie-knot blanket my bff made for him after his 1st surgery folded over a bunch of times)
He also needs...a couch cover for the love seat he's not allowed on.....a blanket for the couch he's not allowed on.....a blanket for Mommy & Daddy's bed that he's...not allowed on! Aaaannnd a full couch & a 1 1/2person wide chaise chair in our basement that he has taken over
The BEST part is, for all the pouty, sad eyes I get when I am on all of the above & he is pleading his case for an invite, where do I find him frequently? Lying on the hard, tile floor in the kitchen (baking in the sun of course), or, my favorite in the summer, laying outside on the cement patio (baking in the sun)!!

This MUST be a pointer thing. Collins' most favorite thing to do this past summer was to lay outside on the cement patio baking in the sun when it was over 100 out. I told her its a good thing she's mostly white. Ziva would just look at her like she was nuts and go find an A/C vent....
Sans the baking in the sun part (G sleeps on tile to cool off) and the not being allowed on mom & dad's bed (she does have to beg an invite because it's tall), this, exactly.
LOL! What a little brat!
Zoey rarely uses her doggie bed. She vastly prefers to be up on one of the couches. I'm a softie, and I let her most of the time.
Now that she's big enough to invite herself up onto our bed without assistance, I'm trying to get it into her head that she's not allowed up unless we say so. I'm hoping it's not a lost cause...yet more territory lost to the dog!
