need more recipes that include spinach...

DH and I need to eat more 'greens'...I need more recipes that would include spinach...I mean besides appetizers... 

Spinach salad is really easy...but what about meat/chicken dishes that have spinach combined into the recipe...that is where I need some help..

Does he like smoothies? Kale and spinach pur?e really easily into them.  I put spinach in pasta a lot as well.

Have you tried just sauteeing it with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper? It wilts in just 2 minutes or so - so easy and delicious!

I did a baked gnocchi with spinach just last week.

I also make a baked spinach, like a crustless spinach quiche.

And I do a baked chicken/fish on a bed of mashed potatoes with spinach -- sounds very weird, but really good.

We use a lot of spinach in our house. I'll often put it as the base of a pizza or top simple sauteed spinach with cooked chicken, or stir it into creamy pasta. Here are some recipes that incorporate spinach into the dish:

chicken and goat cheese strudel

bacon pierogi bake (I serve this on top of sauteed spinach)

chicken alfredo lasagna rolls

tortellini soup

Greek inspired pizza

This is not a healthy recipe but we made chicken and gnocchi with spinach soup last night and it was yummy! I am also making spinach and artichoke stuffed mushrooms tonight.

spinach on home made pizza is always delicious (thin crust can be healthier, with some wheat flour).

 

My family has always put lots of spinach in our french onion soup as well.
