Update: Bullmastiff having seizures.
I thought I would update here since you ladies seemed concerned. I took her to the vet this morning, and they did all the blood work which came back fine, thank goodness! Vet immediately thought it sounded like epilepsy. He said it could also be something as simple as her eating some raccoon poop. We have decided to see how the next couple of days go to make sure it is not something like her ingesting something toxic before we put her on meds. If it does happen again, she can go on meds and we will have to do regular blood testing bc a side effect of the meds is possible liver damage. What a day.
Re: Update: Bullmastiff having seizures.
Thank you for the update. It's so awful not being able to nail something down medically with definitive test results.
I hope your big guy is back to being his usual self soon.
