Hi ladies, H and I are planning a Disney trip for mid March and I remembered there are a few gals here that are always super helpful in this area. A few questions...
Is John Wayne Airport the closest to Disney?
Any and all hotel recommendations are greatly appreciated! We would like to stay as close to Disney as possible or even @ one of the Disney hotels if they are strongly recommended.
TIA!
Re: Disneyland help:)
Yes- John Wayne is the closest airport to Disneyland Resort.
Disney has three hotels: Paradise Pier, Disneyland Hotel, and the Grand Californian. We tend to stay at the Grand Californian (we own Disneys Vacation Club and it has DVC villas), but I have stayed at all three properties. All three properties offer extra magic hours (getting into Disneyland early) and can use the guest only entrance from the Grand Californian directly into California Adventure.
My husband LOVES Paradise Pier, more then the Grand Californian. Both the Paradise Pier and Disneyland hotel are recently renovated. We are going the last weekend in March for DDs birthday and staying at the Disneyland Hotel.
The nicer off property hotels are a short walk down the street. Ive stayed at the Hyatt, Embassy Suites on Harbor, and Marriott Suites.
