Our poor little guy can't get a break!
Yesterday was 3 days that he hadn't pooped and I noticed him yelping in the litter box and nothing coming out so I took him to the vet. (Yes, he has been urinating fine). He was not happy to be there after everything he went through last time. He was hissing at the vet while she clipped his nails and I heard him screaming while they were taking an x-ray. He was super backed up so they gave him an enema.
They put him in the carrier and I was about to take him home when he pooped all over himself in the carrier
They took him out and cleaned him (more unhappy noises coming from the boy) and cleaned out the carrier too.
Poor little Sherlock. He just can't catch a break! He was feeling much better this morning and was back to being playful and loving. I doubt I'll ever be able to get him back into the cat carrier without a fight now!
Re: Oh my poor Sherlock.
Oh no!! How on earth did he get so backed up? I can only immagine the noises he was making. Scamp pitches a total fit whenever the vet tries to even LOOK at her back end; I dread to think what kind of beast she'd turn into if they had to give her an enema!
Poor Sherlock. I hope this is it for your vet trips for a while, dude!

I have no idea! There wasn't anything unusual that came out. I'm just hoping it's not the Rx food that we have him on. The vet is having me give him wet food only for a while to ease his body back into it, but I'm considering not doing dry anymore at all.
Thank you and I agree! Neither of us like going to the vet, so let's hope this is it for a WHILE.

Poor little dude! Glad he's better at least!
We can't get Rosco in to a carrier...it's quite the struggle! He hates it!
Hope he stays healthy for a long time!
