my family has rented here for years! we always went with family friends who had a boat so it wouldnt be that much fun if you didnt have a boat!
Last year we stayed at www.Surfsideonthelake.com
It was our first time at Lake George and we had a small motel room with 2 double beds and a bath. We stayed 3 nights and made it work - meaning DH & I were going to bed at 9pm every night. This year we are looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom cottage. If Surfside had 2 or 3 bedroom units we would stay there again. The boys LOVED the lake and playground. And the boys were 4 & 3 last year.
