New Morristown Mom...
Hi there... I am moving to Morristown, NJ from St Louis MO this week. DH has been trasferred for work and I am going to be staying home with our new baby. I am a first time mom and my son is 6 weeks old. I am just wondering if any moms in the area can offer me some resources/advice for mommy and me type activities in the area. I am also interested in getting involved with a group of moms for potential "play dates" etc....if anyone is interested!? Anyway, I am nervous about this move since I will be so far away from all my family and friends but hoping it will all turn out for the best! Looking at it as an exciting new adventure for my new little fam!!!

We have a FB group for GTG's but it's mostly toddlers +... but i'm sure there are some good groups in the area.
I'm right next door in Morris Plains and can help out if you need recs for doctors, shopping, restaurants, etc... I grew up in this area- went to Morristown High, etc... so page/PM me any time!

I didnt know Whippany had a moms group...do you have any info?
I am in Lincoln Park but I'm always in Morristown/cedar knolls and whippany area . (grew up in cedar knolls, town next door)
You'll love Morristown, it really is great! especially when there is nice weather.

Hi there, I messaged about moving here awhile back...just now getting settled and everything! Love this area! Seems really nice and cant wait for Spring to get here. Anyway, I just wanted to say congrats on your upcoming delivery! Hopefully it goes as smoothly and possible! I am actuallyhoping to schedule an appt with a gynecologist soon and was wondering if you had any good recommendations for me. I am taking Alec to morristown pediatrics on monday so hopefully that goes well. I also sent an email to get more information about the morristown moms group. Do you know anyone who attends their meetings/activities?? Sorry for the random questions but look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you soon!
